(HealthDay News) -- Here are the latest clinical trials, courtesy of Thomson CenterWatch:

Acne

Qualified participants, 12 years old and older, may receive study-related care and study medication at no cost. Compensation of up to $250 may also be available for time and travel.

Weight Loss

If you are overweight, you may qualify for a one-year clinical research study of an investigational weight loss medication. There is no cost to participate in this study.

Shingles

This study is designed to test an investigational vaccine to prevent contracting shingles.

If you are between 50 and 59 years old, you may qualify to receive all study-related care and the vaccine at no cost. You also may be compensated up to $300 for time and travel.
